Managing Director

Jonny is Managing Director of The Berkshire Health Group. He led the turnaround and growth of The Forbury Clinic, rebuilding it into a profitable, growing outpatient business, and now leads the group’s strategy and the model that gives consultants the infrastructure, operational support and commercial expertise to grow their private practices. A member of the Institute of Directors working towards Chartered Director status, he focuses on board governance, organisational design and building a values-led culture across the group.

Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon

Mr Tanner specialises in cataract and vitreo-retinal surgery and is the lead eye surgeon at The Forbury Clinic. Appointed to Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2001, he developed a substantial private practice alongside several medical businesses and in 2021, left NHS practice to focus fully on private healthcare and wider opportunities in the sector. He combines many years of surgical experience with a strong commitment to a personal, attentive patient experience.

Consultant Urological Surgeon

Mr Foley is the founder of The Forbury Clinic, which he established in 2012, and was appointed a consultant at Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2001. That same year he founded the Reading Urology Partnership, bringing consultants together to deliver high-quality private urology care. He has since built several medical, property and equipment companies, and the consultant-led, patient-first model he created continues to shape how the clinic operates today.

Consultant Urological Surgeon

Mr Blick specialises in urological cancer and robotic surgery. Appointed to Royal Berkshire Hospital after a DPhil at the University of Oxford, he is a recognised expert in kidney and bladder cancer, combining clinical practice with academic leadership and having published widely. As Research and Development Lead in Urology at Royal Berkshire, he is Chief Investigator on major NIHR trials applying AI and augmented reality to prostate and renal cancer diagnosis.

Investor & board adviser

David brings 30 years’ experience building and operating serviced-office companies across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the USA and India. He sold the business in 2013 to become an angel investor, and has since backed companies across healthcare, legal aid services, insurance, wedding venues, serviced offices and real estate, supporting them through board positions.
